Frequently asked questions

Before scheduling your appointment, review the details below so your documents and identification are prepared for a fast and seamless signing process.

How much does a mobile notary cost in Alabama?

Pricing depends on what is involved, including document complexity and travel distance. Most standard mobile notary appointments are conducted for under $50.00. We charge reasonable, usual, and customary fees for our premium on-site service.

What identification must I have ready before the appointment?

A valid, government-issued photo identification is required for every signer. Acceptable forms include an unexpired state driver's license, state ID card, or passport. We must verify your identity before any notarization can proceed.

Should I sign my documents before the notary arrives?

No. Your document must be signed in the physical presence of the notary. Please keep the signature and date lines blank until the notary has arrived, inspected your identification, and administered any required oath or affirmation.

How are travel and convenience fees structured?

We bring our office to your location, saving you valuable time and hassle. Our pricing accounts for vehicle travel, gas, and travel time. Any credit card processing fees or third-party lead costs are transparently passed through so we can continue delivering dependable, mobile service.

Can you provide legal advice or explain document terms?

No. By Alabama law, notaries cannot provide legal advice or advise you on legal matters. Our official duty is strictly to verify your identity, confirm your comprehension of what you are signing, and ensure you are executing the document of your own free will and volition.

Where can we meet for my notarization?

We serve Vestavia Hills and surrounding Alabama communities. We can meet you at your home, workplace, medical facility, coffee shop, or any safe, agreed-upon public location.
